The customer came onto our stand at DSEI looking for a simple carry bag. Once a conversation was started and the customer understood what our potential was, he asked if we could manufacture his crew helmets.

Within a few weeks the customer visited us along with the Quality Manager and showed us the brief. At the time all we had was a sample to work with. We manufactured some samples and showed them to the customer who at this time had received a complicated specification from their client. Working together we produced a sample which was to the spec and complied with material, thread, webbing, hook and loop and popper requirements.

Many visits took place either at Jarvis or at our customer’s premises and although the whole process took some months we are now manufacturing the helmets on a regular basis.
